Newcastle Spinners & Weavers Guild

Approaching its 60th year, this New Lambton guild meets monthly at the Masonic Centre to spin, weave, felt, dye, and knit. Wheels and looms are available to hire; the library covers technique in depth. Workshops run on a fee basis, open to non-members. Thirty-five dollars buys a year's membership — and, as the guild puts it, a chance to have a yarn.
