Shop 8 on Salamanca Place runs a rolling exhibition program of Tasmanian nature-focused art — oils on linen, photography, jewellery, homewares — alongside a Threatened Species Project that gives the whole enterprise some backbone. Current works include Averill Lawler's nocturnal oil paintings, several already sold. Worth a look if you're in Battery Point.
